MindGrid Books is a small independent publisher. This site sells nothing directly — it describes our books and links to Amazon. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we ask before we set any cookie, and we have never sold anyone's data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people find useful and which links they follow to Amazon. It runs only after you accept the cookie notice. Decline it and no analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set — the site works exactly the same.
We do not run advertising, remarketing or personalisation, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf and is not shared with anyone else.
Your choice is remembered in your own browser's local storage under the
key mgb-consent. Clearing your browser data resets it and you
will be asked again.
Some of our books come with a free downloadable activity pack. If you ask for one, we collect your email address in order to send it, and to email you occasionally about new books. That is the only reason we ask.
Email is handled by MailerLite, who store the address on our behalf. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you for good. We never sell, rent or share the list.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, who process standard server request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) as part of serving and protecting the site. We do not use those logs for analytics.
Amazon links
Links to buy our books go to Amazon. Once you land there, Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply — we have no visibility into what you do on Amazon, and Amazon does not tell us who you are.
Children
Many of our books are written for children, but this website is intended for the adults who buy them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the signup forms ask only for an email address.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it, and you can ask us to delete anything we hold about you. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to request a copy of that data or to object to how it is used. Ask and we will do it — there is no process to go through.
