Every photograph in the book, with its photographer, its license, and a link to the original file on Wikimedia Commons.

How these photographs are used

All 57 photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under public domain dedications or Creative Commons licenses that permit commercial use. Each one was cropped, and some resized, to fit the book's page shape. No other changes were made: nothing was added to or removed from any image.

The book prints each photographer's name and license beside the page number. This page carries the rest: a link to the original file and a link to the full license text.
